I want to thank anyone who has attended
The UnderGround Concert Series although we had relatively good success we will be taking a break on the Sunday Concerts until Spring.

So watch for our start up in the spring.

NEW YEAR KICK OFF CONCERT

Lets Kick Off The New Year California Style with a...A CONCERT ON THE BEACH...
The Underground Concert Series kicks off it's 2010 season with great music, friends and great weather including a sunset to make those living anywhere else envious.

It's been a long weekend and I'm sure your are tired of watching football so what better to do than meet some new friends and take advantage of your logistics.

Sunday Jan 3rd 3:00pm

B Street at the waterfront 2 blks east of the Balboa pier.

Last time after the concert about 20 of us went to The Bayside Restaurant for cocktails so come join the fun.

Due to the overbooking of our first Harbor Cruise we are now scheduling The Pre New Years Eve UnderGround Concert and Party Cruise...Wed. Dec. 30th 7:00 PM Aboard the Angela Louise.

Same cost $10.00 Per Person and $2.00 tacos along with a cash bar.

So that we don't run into the same problem again all reservations must be made through www.angelalouise.com on a first come first serve basis.

Boarding will start at 6:00 with departure at 7:00.

IT'S OVERBOOKED

Utilizing all the resources of Twitter, Facebook, Blogger, Meetup, Email and Text messaging we got such a great response that we are over booked for the Christmas Concert and Party Cruise.
Thanks everyone for helping to get the word out.

We will be back at the Balboa Pier the first Sunday in January on the 3rd at 3:00PM. So put it on your calendar.

Give me your feed back it seem there is a lot of interest in the Riverboat Idea. Should we continue with a weekly event after the first of the Year?

First Sunday Concert in Balboa

We had a great time yesterday near the Balboa Pier. About 30 people showed up to enjoy the music, friends and the Sunset.

About 20 of us went to the Harborside at the Pavilion after wards for appetizers...I don't know for sure but is sure seemed everyone had a great time nobody wanted to go home.

Regarding the Christmas Concert a boat parade Wed Dec. 16th go to www.angelalouise.com and make your reservations Dec 5th otherwise your discount code (dave2009) will not work and rather than $10 the tickets will be $40.

Christmas Concert and Party Cruise

Hello you adventurous music lovers.

As you can see I try to create events that provide activities that are a bit outside the box. So this time we are connecting music with the whole Christmas Theme and Newport Harbor Boat Parade. I'll bet you did know that the Newport Harbor Boat Parade is listed in the top 10 national events of the year. The boats are spectacular and the homes are decorated to the hilt. It's worth the trip for that alone.

Boarding will start at 6:00 with viewing of the boat parade dock side from 6:30 to 7:00 then we will follow the boat parade around the harbor. So you must arrive no later than 7:00

There will be $2.00 Tacos and the bar will be open for business.

Rick, (Elvis) the owner of the Angela Louise is a good friend of mine and has offered a discount to The Underground Concert Series gang. If you make your reservations by Dec. 5th. rather than $25. you will only have to pay $10 so make sure to get your group together and make your reservations right away because we are limited to 100 people.
